Pathakada project

The Pathakada project is our most advanced Project. It is located within the Kalutara district and is only approximately 40kms from the Colombo Port. Exploration results suggest that this area is amenable to open cut development.

At 7km2 in size, Pathakada has a number of major historical mining occurrences. Initial EM survey on 1Km2 of lease has located four significant graphite bodies. Margosa has drilled three of these bodies to date, and has recently started definition drilling to outline a maiden resource. Consolidated Vein thickness varies from 2 - 4.75m.

Metallurgical sampling has returned encouraging results with grades ranging from 65% - 95% Cg. Margosa believes Pathakada currently offers the company the quickest pathway to graphite production.

Margosa has drilled approximately 900m in its Phase 1 drilling program, with compelling targets on all tenements

In January 2017 Margosa commenced Phase II diamond drilling of the southern conductor in order to extend the area of known mineralisation and outline a JORC compliant resource at the project. Up to 12 holes for 1500m are planned to be completed in late April 2017 prior to the onset of the wet season.

Margosa believes Pathakada currently offers the company the quickest pathway to graphite production, although this could change once the AEM survey is finished in mid-2017.

Margosa has invested circa A$3m and drilled approximately 2000m in its Phase 1 program to date and compelling targets are prolific on all tenements. Mineralizing structures from operating mines continue into Margosa tenements, thus making it a viable investment.
